1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Green Mentors services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, member institutions, and others who access or use our services, including accreditation programs, rankings, events, and network memberships.

2. Description of Services

Green Mentors provides sustainability-focused services for educational institutions including Green School & University Accreditation, Global Green Rankings, Green Excellence Awards, Green Summit and Conference Events, Global Network Memberships, and Sustainability Consulting and Advisory Services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time with appropriate notice.

3. Accreditation Terms

Institutions applying for accreditation agree to provide accurate and complete information during the assessment process, allow Green Mentors assessors reasonable access for evaluation, maintain compliance with sustainability standards during the accreditation period, report significant changes that may affect accreditation status, and adhere to the ethical guidelines established by Green Mentors. Accreditation status may be revoked if an institution fails to maintain required standards or provides false information.

4. Rankings Participation

Institutions participating in the Global Green Rankings agree to submit accurate data according to the methodology guidelines, allow verification of submitted information when requested, accept the final ranking determination by Green Mentors, and not misrepresent ranking results in promotional materials. Rankings are determined based on our published methodology and are subject to annual review and updates.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, methodologies, frameworks, logos, and materials associated with Green Mentors services are the exclusive property of Green Mentors or its licensors. Member institutions may use Green Mentors logos and accreditation marks only in accordance with our brand guidelines and for the duration of their valid membership or accreditation status.

6. Payment Terms

Fees for accreditation, membership, events, and other services are outlined in the respective program documentation. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in the specific program terms. Payment is due according to the invoicing schedule provided. Late payments may result in suspension of services or membership benefits.

7. Confidentiality

Green Mentors maintains strict confidentiality regarding institutional data submitted for accreditation, rankings, and other programs. Data is used only for the stated purposes and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Aggregate and anonymized data may be used for research and reporting purposes to advance sustainability in education globally.

8. Limitation of Liability

Green Mentors provides services in good faith based on information provided by institutions. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or reliance on our assessments and rankings. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question during the relevant period.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through arbitration in New Delhi, India.
